We have spray painted the interior and waxed for protection. The sideboard has been decoupaged with Bethan Gray paper in greens and gold. The design creates a trompe d'oeil effect of a stone with magnificent colouration and a repeat pattern of arch contained by a metallic gold line. The paper has been given layers and layers of hard-wearing gloss varnish for protection. Glass on top for extra protection. The brass handles are original to the piece.
